At JM Mountain Studio, every piece tells a story. Nestled in the mountains outside Trinidad, Colorado, our work is inspired daily by the sweeping vistas of the Rocky Mountains, the wide-open skies of the San Luis Valley, and the ever-changing light at sunrise and sunset. Crafted completely off solar power, each creation reflects both our surroundings and our commitment to sustainability.

Sustainable Materials

We choose materials with intention: reclaimed wood with history, boards cut from trees removed for fire mitigation, and timber whose unique grains bring natural beauty forward. Every piece carries the story of where it came from.

 

Craftsmanship & Experience

For more than 30 years, JJ has honed her skills as a craftsman. She finds joy in adding small details to each piece, ensuring everything carries her personal touch. Many works are shaped with vintage tools that honor traditional methods, blending old-world care with modern design.
