Osage orange — the bow-wood, famously tough, aging from gold toward deep umber over the years — banded with blue accents in a blank Laura made herself. Turned and glossed so both colors hold their line.

The blue stays the blue. The orange gets deeper about it. The sky stays; the canyon ages.
